Basement remodeling is one of the easiest ways to bring more spaces into your home. Play safe and stick to yellows, creams and other pastels that expand and brighten a room. Basement lighting works best with ceiling lights that are embedded into the ceiling. They don't cause an obstruction when you walk, and provide sufficient light. If you intend to have a kid's study room or home office here, basement lighting becomes even more important.
